ANS. The Rock-a-By Lady comes stealing and creeping from Hushaby Street.

 ANS . The poppies have tiny and fleet dreams in them.
3. When will the Rock-a-By Lady bring poppies for the child?
 ANS . The Rock-a-By Lady will bring poppies when she finds the child sleeping.
 Q4. What will the child dream of?
 ANS . The child will dream of a beautiful drum, a big sugar-plum, banging popguns, humming tin tops, a blowing trumpet, laughing and singing dollies, boats floating on silvery streams, the stars playing peek-a-boo with their own misty gleams, the beaming Mother Moon and the winging fairies.
Q5.  Describe the rock-a-by lady.
Ans. The Rock-a-By Lady creeps into people’s houses at night. She wears poppies that hang from her head to her feet. Each poppy carries a tiny dream. She brings these poppies to children when she finds them sleeping.
Q6.Describe the dreams in stanza three.
Ans. Each poppy that the Rock-a-By Lady carries, contains a tiny dream. These dreams are described eloquently in stanza 3. Dolls peep out of the dreams laughing and singing while boats float on silvery streams. The stars play peek-a-boo while fairies fly merrily near Mother Moon who beams at them happily.
Q7. She bringeth her poppies to you, my sweet, when she findeth you sleeping! Explain.
Ans. The Rock-a-By Lady wears poppies that hang from her head to her feet. Each poppy contains a tiny, beautiful dream. She gifts these poppies to children when she finds them sleeping that they may have sweet dreams while they sleep.
